Brendan is a lifelong community leader, educator, and family man who believes in hard work, personal responsibility, and putting people first. Married for 34 years, he is a proud father of three and a devoted grandfather. His values are rooted in faith, family, and service, shaped by a lifetime of involvement in his church, schools, and community organizations.

Brendan has spent his career in public education, serving as a teacher, principal, superintendent, and Director of Education. He has also served as Chair of Northern Ontario Education Leaders and earned recognition as a Catholic Principal of the Year. Education and community service run deep in his family, with three generations graduating from Lakehead University.

Today, Brendan continues to serve locally as Deputy Reeve and Councillor, working closely with residents, councils, and boards to balance budgets, stretch tax dollars, and deliver practical solutions that support sustainable growth and strong communities.

Brendan supports the Conservative Party of Canada because he believes Canadians deserve affordability, safe communities, and leadership that is honest and accountable. He supports lower taxes, fiscal responsibility, and policies that respect seniors, families, rural communities, and law-abiding citizens. He believes Canada must stand strong, develop its natural resources responsibly, support workers, and focus on real solutions to crime, addiction, and the rising cost of living.
A lifelong outdoorsman, hunter, coach, mentor, and volunteer, Brendan understands the realities facing everyday Canadians because he lives them. He brings experience, integrity, and common sense to his leadership—always guided by a commitment to family, community, and country.
Brendan received almost 43 percent of the popular vote in the previous election and is seeking a second opportunity to represent Thunder Bay-Rainy River as the Conservative candidate to build on the momentum from the last election and finally bring real change to Thunder Bay-Rainy River.
